Panel discussion “Balkan Networking – Youth Networking” was assessed by all participants as a great success and a significant contribution to creating awareness in young people about the importance of networking.
At the opening of the panel discussion, guests were greeted by President of the European Forum Alpbach dr Franz Fischler, through video message. He pointed out that networking of young people is very important for connection of European countries, as well as that this conference is highly relevant for re-connection of the region.
Rector of the Mediterranean University prof. Slobodan Backović, PHD, said that the aim of the project is to show to young people that they can overcome problems of the past in the easiest way and accelerate process of the EU integration in the countries of the region.
The participants were also addressed by the Austrian ambassador to Montenegro, H. E. Martin Pammer, who recommended to youngsters to travel more, learn foreign languages and to be open and tolerant.
Participants of the first part of the programme were Director of the European Forum Alpbach Filippe Narval and representatives of initiative groups and clubs Alpbach from the region, as well as representative of the NGO European Alternatives from UK Olga Vuković. In the second part of the programme, students had the opportunity to discuss in small groups with prominent young Montenegrin leaders, active and recognised in different areas: Olivera Komar, PhD, Vladimir Vučinić, Bosiljka Vuković, Gojko Maksimović, doc. Nikola Vukčević, PhD, Ana Nives Radović and Daliborka Uljarević
