The audience in Podgorica had the opportunity yesterday to enjoy the festival which promotes short film production and different views of Europe.
On the second night of the festival “My Europe”, organised by the NGO Initiative Group Alpbach Podgorica (IGAP), in cooperation with the NGO Citizens of Europe from Berlin and Cultural-informative Centre “Budo Tomović”, four films were shown on the topic of human rights.
Panelists, Nikola Nikolić, writer, and Maja Raičević, women rights activist, gave their views on the movie topics during the panel discussion named "Life in Europe". As they pointed out, our society became cruel towards differences, and most people are susceptible to prejudice and indifferent to violence. Therefore, they believe that it is important to reject prejudices and let the human in us prevail.
The panel discussion officially ended the two-day short film festival "My Europe", which was organised so far in around 20 European states, and this year for the first time in Montenegro.
